Spring Sudoku for Kids – printable PDF worksheets

Each PDF has 6 puzzles on A4 paper and the answers at the end – just tap, download and print.

Flowers and little creatures

In our spring sudoku, the squares hold 🌷 tulips, 🐝 bees, 🦋 butterflies and 🐞 ladybugs (ladybirds). The 6×6 adds 🌱 seedlings and 🐦 birds; the 9×9 also has 🌈 rainbows, 🐌 snails and 🌸 blossoms. The 9×9 is available online; the printable worksheets come in 4×4 and 6×6. The rule stays the same: each picture appears exactly once in every row, every column and every box.

With no bunnies or eggs, the set fits the whole spring season, whenever Easter falls. For Easter itself there is the Easter sudoku.

From the puzzle to the great outdoors

Bees, ladybugs, snails and birds are easy to spot in spring – in the garden, the park or the playground. A nice idea: solve the puzzle first, then go on a hunt together – which pictures from the sudoku can you find outside? Whatever you find gets colored in on the puzzle.
